15 Scholarships To Apply To By The End Of December

The year may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean your student’s scholarship search has to! While we certainly believe students should take time during their winter break to rest and enjoy holiday celebrations with family and friends, we also know it’s a great time to knock out some last-minute applications for scholarships.

Here is a list of 15 scholarships to apply for this December. These next few weeks are major deadline weeks so you don’t want to miss out!

The Bookoo Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 1, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students attending an accredited college or university.
  • GPA Requirement: No GPA requirement
  • Requires Essay

 Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team College Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 1, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Scholarships are open to students enrolled at an accredited high school, college, or university.
  • GPA Requirement: 3.5 or higher
  • Requires essay

Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 1, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students
  • GPA Requirement: No GPA Requirement
  • Requires Essay

Operation Homefront Military Child of the Year

  • Award Amount: $10,000
  • Deadline: December 2, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Child must be a legal military dependent. Status confirmed by DEERS enrollment form.
    • Child must be between the ages of 13 and 18, at the time of nomination.
  • GPA Requirement: No GPA requirement
  • Requires Nomination by Parents, siblings, teachers, coaches, clergy, neighbors, grandparents, and anyone familiar with the child’s achievements

Sage IT College/University Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 7, 2025
  • Eligibility: 
    • This scholarship can be availed by all US citizens and legal residents, who are older than 17 years and below 30 years
    • All regular and part-time college students are also eligible to take part in this contest
    • The participating student must be enrolled in a recognized College/University functioning in the United States of America
  • GPA Requirement: No GPA requirement
  • Requires Essay

AvaCares Medical Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 15, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Citizen of the United States or in possession of an Alien Registration Card
    • High school senior or enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university
    • Pursuing a degree in the medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, health law, etc.
  • GPA Requirement: 3.0 GPA or Higher
  • Requires Essay, Video, or Image Submission

Rubincam Youth Award

  • Award Amount: Up to $500
  • Deadline: December 15, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Award is open to students in grades 6 through 12
  • GPA Requirement: No GPA Requirement
  • Requires biography & genealogical project

Burger King Scholars Program

  • Award Amount: Up to $60,000
  • Deadline: December 15, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Program is open to graduating high school seniors who live in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico.
    • Plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2026-27 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school or CEGEP or equivalent in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam or Canada
      AND
    • Be first-time applicants who are graduating 2026 high school seniors (U.S., Puerto Rico, and Guam), graduating from grade 12 (Canada) or graduating from homeschool education in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada
      OR
    • Be a past recipient of the Burger King Scholarship who is a current college undergraduate
  • GPA Requirement: 2.0 or higher
  • Requires Essay

Foreclosure.com Scholarship

  • Award Amount: Up to $4,000
  • Deadline: December 15, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Scholarship is open to currently enrolled undergraduate students
  • GPA Requirement: No GPA requirement

G2 Overachievers Student Grant

  • Award Amount: $100,000
  • Deadline: December 15,2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • US Citizen
  • GPA Requirement: No GPA Requirement

Achieve Today Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $2,000
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025
  • Eligibility:  
    • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and a current student of an accredited US university or college.

NYC Injury Lawyers Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $5,000
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025
  • Eligibility: 
    • Open to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a U.S. college — program, interested in or seeking a law degree.

Not Consumed Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025
  • Eligibility: 
    • Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa.
    • Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited U.S. college or university.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Greenberg and Ruby Injury Attorneys, APC 2025 Winter Scholarship

  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025
  • Eligibility: 
    • Law students are eligible;
    • Student must be a US citizen or a permanent resident;
    • Student must demonstrate involvement in community activities;
  • GPA Requirement: 3.0 or Higher
  • Requires Essay or Video

Dell Scholars Program

  • Award Amount: Up to $20,000
  • Deadline: February 15, 2026 -> Use your time over Winter break to get ahead and start applying to scholarships with January and February deadlines!
  • Eligibility:  
    • Participate in a program-approved college readiness program in grades 11 and 12
    • Be on track to graduate from an accredited high school in the current academic year
    • Plan to enroll full time at an accredited higher education institution in the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in the fall directly following high school graduation
  • GPA Requirement: 2.4 of Higher
